Privacy Policy

The short version: your manuscript is private, it is never shared with other users, never published, and never used to train AI models. Here are the details.

What we store

Your account email, the manuscripts you import, the story bibles and voice profiles derived from them, the chapters you generate, and your subscription status. Data is stored with our database provider (Supabase) with row-level security: your data is technically inaccessible to other users.

Who sees your writing

Nobody, in the normal course of things. Your text is sent to third-party AI model providers (currently xAI and DeepSeek) solely to analyze your draft and generate your chapters, under terms that prohibit training on your content. We do not read your manuscripts except when you explicitly ask us to for a support issue.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't train models on your writing. We don't publish or share your stories. We don't show ads.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — only your subscription status and Stripe customer reference.

Deletion

Deleting a story removes it and its derived data (bible, voice profile, generated chapters) from our database. Deleting your account removes everything. Backups age out within 30 days.

Cookies & analytics

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and privacy-respecting product analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the product. No third-party advertising trackers.
